This is a rainbow trout I am working on right now it is carved and primed and waiting for paint. It is carved from basswood and it will be mounted on this piece of cherry wood when done.

I live in Victoria on Vancouver Island. To help pursue my fish Carving hobby I took a job at a little fish store and since have moved on to sell wholesale seafood to hotels and restaurants all over Vancouver Island , working with fish everyday for the last 2 years has enhanced my knowledge of fish and the details of their anatomy.
